Author: Ruth Ware
Wow, what a ride. I regret that I read The Woman in Cabin 10 (another Ware book) before I read In a Dark, Dark Wood. Cabin 10 left me with a bad taste in my mouth (check out my review here), but Dark Wood was a completely different experience. It felt like an old-school mystery that kept me wondering what little clues I had overlooked during the beginning of the novel. It was fast-paced, thrilling, and even a little scary. This is a great read.
